This annual produces bronze green foliage and olive shaped flowers with a burgundy eye. Unique flowers make supberb bedding or container plants. The leaves and flowers numb the mouth and are said to work better than many commercial products. Also has antibiotic, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties.Spilanthes can branch outwards of up to two feet in height and has medium sized, dark green serrated leaves. Acmella oleracea produces continuous blooms from mid-July to early August.
